According to details, a donkey-cart of two poor brothers accidentally collided with the car of an influential landlord, Muhammed Bukhsh, which made him furious.
The two brothers were forced to apologize the influential with their shoes in their mouth – a punishment announced by an open Jirga summoned by the feudal lord.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) condemned the inhuman punishment handed to poor youngsters and announced to carry out a protest against it on Friday.
It is pertinent to mention here that feudal lords in rural areas of country, especially Sindh and Punjab, are seen maltreating poor people quite often.
The victims often face atrocities and injustices at the hands of local lords, as police too remains helpless in laying hands on influential culprits.
Majority of such cases go unreported; if one comes to light, it rarely sees the culprits being handed punishment.
