The JUI-F chief urged Mr. Hussain to review his decision “of not backtracking from resignations from the assemblies”
The MQM chief apprised Fazl of reasons for tendering resignations from the assemblies.
Maulana said he had been assured by the government of listening to and resolving MQM complaints.
Yesterday, he had also phoned up MQM leader Farooq Sattar, advised him to continue the dialogue process and told that he has discussed the matter with the prime minister.
At this, Sattar lamented government ‘non-seriousness’ on MQM’s resignations and that PM Sharif in his Karachi visit entirely neglected the issue.
“If the prime minister was serious, he would call MQM leaders and listen to their concerns,” he added.
