LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Farrukh Habib criticised Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government, stating that the non-serious attitude of federal ministers steered Pakistan towards ‘economic turmoil’, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, PTI leader Farrukh Habib stated that the dollar jacked up Rs 115 within 11 months. He said that the federal ministers are not serious about the country’s economic crisis.
In reply to the question, the party leader said that the PTI’s election campaign will start from Saturday in which PTI chief Imran Khan will address the rallies via video link.
Farrukh Habib said that the PTI chairman Imran Khan’s security is being reviewed as the party chairman’s life is in danger and lambasted the coalition government for ‘framing’ PTI chief Imran Khan in 74 cases.

Farrukh Habib stated that the PTI leadership were optimistic after Supreme Court (SC) verdict, adding that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has to obey the SC orders otherwise the PM will face disqualification like Yousaf Raza Gillani.
Last Month, PTI leader Farrukh Habib challenged the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) notice in the Lahore High Court over alleged corruption.
FIA asked the PTI leader to appear before its composite circle in Faisalabad on February 21.
Farrukh Habib in his plea made FIA and other respondents. “FIA has initiated an inquiry against me over ‘corruption and misuse of powers’, which is based on biasism,” Habib said in his plea.
The LHC has been pleaded to nullify the FIA’s notice.
