FAISALABAD: Four students were killed as a bus plunged into a ravine near Faisalabad, ARY News reported on Monday.
According to details, the bus was traveling on Rajana Road when it fell into a ravine due to rainy conditions.
Four students were killed whereas 30 others, which included women and children, sustained injuries.
The injured persons were shifted to Civil Hospital Samundari and Allied Hospital Faisalabad for treatment.
The deceased students were identified as Umar Farooq, Naeem, Ashraf and Akram. They were enrolled at Faisalabad’s Government Post Graduate College Samanabad.
It should be noted that reckless driving, poor maintenance of vehicles and dilapidated conditions of the roads are the main cause of accidents, which claim hundreds of lives in Pakistan every year.
