ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday said ever-growing strategic relations between Pakistan and China are the bedrock of regional peace and stability.
“Pakistan and China have exemplary friendship which has withstood the vicissitudes of time,” she said during a meeting with Director Information Office of the State Council of China Jiang Jianguo, who called on her along with a high-level delegation in Islamabad.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring prosperity to the peoples of China, Pakistan, South Asia, Central Asia and Middle East.
She acknowledged Chinese assistance in infrastructure and economic development as well as the continuous support for Pakistan in the fight against global terrorism.
Jiang Jianguo acknowledged Pakistan’s rapid strides towards higher level of economic growth and great improvement in the security situation.
