Special Adviser to PM on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz in his meetings with senior US officials provided three dossiers that carried evidences substantiating Indian involvement in subversive activities inside Pakistan.
Earlier this month, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations (UN), Dr Maliha Lodhi had provided the same dossiers to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in a meeting held on the sidelines of 70th session of the UN General Assembly.
In his meeting with Secretary John Kerry today, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif apprised him of the matter, while sources said that Sharif will also take up the matter in tomorrow’s meeting with President Barack Obama.
Pakistan has long been accusing India of sponsoring terrorist outfits in its Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Balochistan and Karachi.
Officials from the military as well as the civil administration have repeatedly said that the India spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) has been funding and supporting terrorists and militants in order to undermine Pakistan’s efforts to root out terrorism menace.
