‘Missing’ teenage boy found dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A 15-year-old boy who had reportedly gone missing 20 days back was found dead within the remits of Aabpara police station on Thursday, reported ARY News.

According to local police, the deceased, identified as Usman, had gone missing from the Taramri locality of the federal capital.

The body was handed over to relatives of the deceased after medico-legal formalities.

They placed the body at the Taramri Chowk to protest against police inaction over the incident.

Police had recovered a 12-year-old body of an aged woman from a garbage heap in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city on Thursday last.

the body identified as that of a woman named Zakia Khatoon was around 10 to 12 years old and was thrown in the trash heap by her brother.

As police questioned the deceased’s brother, Mehboob, he revealed that Zakia died years back but instead of burying her body, her children- a son and a daughter-kept it in a freezer at their residence “out of love for their mother”.

He added that his sister’s children- Ehsan and Shugufta- passed away four months leaving their flat empty and that he was unaware of his nephew and niece’s act and only discovered the body after arriving at their apartment about two days ago.
