KARACHI: Taking notice of the killing of a bank manager in a robbery attempt in Tariq Road area of Karachi, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday directed Additional Inspector General Police Ghulam Qadir Thebo to submit a comprehensive inquiry report in this regard.
Murad damned the police for failing to arrest the culprits and wondered that how muggers could conduct bank robbery in broad daylight.
He directed to report him what action they had taken so far in this matter. He also directed to bring all the evidences in the killing incident to use and arrest the culprits.
On the other hand, the CM has also expressed anger over robbery at former secretary of Karachi Press Club late Najeem Alam’s house in Model Colony, Malir.
Murad also directed the police to take prompt action to bring the culprits to justice. He also announced to provide all assistance to the late journalist’s family.
