KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will hold separate meetings with Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) and Muhajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) on Monday to invite for All Parties Conference in Karachi on August 22, ARY News reported.
According to details, one MQM-P delegation, comprising Senior Deputy Convener Amir Khan and Furqan Tayyab along others, will visit Pakistan House in the morning to hold a meeting with PSP leadership and invite them to attend the APC. This would be the first meeting between both the parties.
Another Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan delegation, comprising Amir Khan, Amin ul Haq, and Arshad Hussain, will meet MQM-H chief Afaq Ahmed in the afternoon.
While, another MQM-P mission, led by Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly and Faisal Sabzwari, will call on senior Pakistan People’s Party leader Nisar Khuhro in the provincial assembly and invite the party leadership for the APC.
It is pertinent here to mention that the MQM-P has decided to organize this conference to exchange views on the current political situation and their party policies they started practicing after August last year.
Last year on August 22, founder of MQM made a fiery speech in which he instigated workers to raise anti-Pakistan slogans and attack media houses. Following the speech, MQM-P dissociated with Altaf Hussain and announced to spearhead political course of actions and decisions from Pakistan rather than London.
