ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran khan on Thursday questioned if there was a need for more evidence in the Panama Papers Leaks Case, suggesting that enough evidence has already been submitted to the court for it to come up with its decision.
Speaking to media representatives outside the Supreme Court, Khan said the top court has instructed him on Wednesday to refrain from discussing case hearing.
“The court has given some instructions yesterday and so, I will not going to say anything,” said Chairman PTI and added, “We will not do anything against the will of the court”.
However, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the PTI lawyers would destroy the Qatari letter in the courtroom today as prime minister’s only hope to save him and his family from the corruption charges.
Meanwhile, Chief of the Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed was of the view that if he got a chance to speak in the court today; he would request the bench to summon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber Al Thani in the court.
