ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan to meet International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde on April 26, in China, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Pakistan is engaging IMF for a bailout package of around $6billions.
The meeting between both was finalised in a high level contact between the federal government of Pakistan and the IMF.
The meeting will take place on April 26, during Prime Minister’s visit of China, to review the progress made for another bailout package for Pakistan.
The prime minister will apprise Lagrade about financial conditions of Pakistan, during the meeting.
Earlier on February 10, Prime Minister Imran Khan had also held meeting with International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The prime minister had met the IMF chief on the sidelines of the World Government Summit.
The premier had appreciated IMF’s support to Pakistan and shared his vision for nation-building and reiterated the government’s commitment for undertaking structural and governance reforms and strengthening social protection in the country.
The IMF chief acknowledged the steps taken so far by the Pakistani government for stabilising the economy. She said the IMF will remain engaged in supporting Pakistan in sustaining its economic recovery.
