ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is committed for the promotion of investment in human resource development, Radio Pakistan reported.
This he stated while expressing his views in the Human Resource Summit in the federal capital here today.
He maintained that investment in human resource development, health and education is very beneficial in the long run for the progress and development of any country.
He said development of human resource is at government’s top agenda and we have to remove all the hurdles in the way of fast-tracking of this sector.
Last week, Finance Minister Asad Umar had said Pakistan was trying to improve trade and economic relations with different countries in order to strengthen country’s economy.

“Pakistan is opening up to the world with improved security situation in the country”, this he stated while addressing the Graduation ceremony of 27th Advanced Diplomatic Course organized by Foreign Service Academy for foreign diplomats in Islamabad.
He said we are in the process of implementing China Pakistan Economic Corridor project which has strengthened our economic relations with the time tested friend China and ties are also improving with Iran.
