ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) has announced to dedicate upcoming Holi festival to Pakistan Day.
A resolution was unanimously passed during the session of PHC, denouncing Indian aggression and vowing to support Pakistan Army for defending the motherland.
“Every year the Holi festival reminds us of the victory of the good over evil. Also known as the festival of colours, it is celebrated all across the world and with every passing year, it is increasing popularity among all faiths,” the resolution said.
Pakistan Hindu Council, in connection with Holi festival and Pakistan Day, will hold a colorful mega event on Wednesday, 20th March 2019 at the Shri Panchumukhi Hanuman Temple, Soldier Bazar, Karachi, read a press release of PHC.
It added, “On the occasion, a large number of Pakistani Hindu families, holding national flags, will be present to demonstrate their love for beloved Pakistan.”
The managing committee of PHC, during its meeting, also hailed the recent visit of Parliamentarian Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani to India as a peace initiative to defuse Pakistan-India tensions.
The meeting was attended by Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani (Patron), Gopal Khamuani (President), Parshotam Ramani (Gen. Secretary), Paman Lal Rathi (Joint Secretary), Bharat Kumar Mangalni (Finance Secretary), Prem Talreja (Advisor) and other members.
