Fawad Khan’s scenes omitted from Dhoni biopic

MUMBAI: Director Neeraj Pandey has reportedly omitted Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s scenes from his movie “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”.

According to Indian website, Khan was portraying the role of Indian test captain Virat Kohli in the film based on the life of the prolific wicket keeper batsmen.

The website also mentioned that Fawad Khan had shot several scenes in the flick and played a key role in the flick as well.

It should be noted that hard-line Indian parties have told Pakistan actors to leave the country following the attack on the Indian military base in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Fawad Khan had already returned from India following the threats.

The extremist groups in the country had also threatened film makers of dire consequences if they will cast any Pakistani actor in their projects.
