PESHAWAR: A medical student in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tasneem Anjum, who allegedly committed suicide out of mental depression, requested to donate his body organs in his last note, ARY News reported.
According to police, the deceased student left behind a a suicide note, which was recovered from the incident’s spot, read, “Donate my body parts. I am young & smile.”
The youth from Mardan was a student of final year at Khyber Medical College in Peshawar who hanged himself in his hostel room last night.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident. The laptop and mobile phone of Anjum have been collected by the police for a forensic test.
“It would be too early to say something positively about the suicide,” investigation officers said.
“The reason behind the suicide is said to be mental stress, however the actual cause of the incident will be established once the probe is completed,” they added.
As per claims of the victim’s family, Anjum was not suffering from any psychological issue.
The body has been shifted to a local hospital for post-mortem and it would later be handed over to the heirs.
