RAWALPINDI: The Corps Commanders Conference on Wednesday chaired by Chief of Army Staff General Qammar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters stated discussed the increasing Indian ceasefire violations and vowed to responded to any misadventure.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the forum said that Indian ceasefires are detrimental to peace, however, any Indian misadventure shall be responded effectively.
They also reviewed geo-strategic and security environment especially in the context of United States security related policies in the region.
They also discussed the progress of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, and reiterated that the gains of years long counter-terrorism efforts shall be consolidated to achieve enduring peace for Pakistan and the region.
The forum concluded that the national interest shall be kept at a premium while cooperating with all stakeholders for regional peace and stability.
