ISLAMABAD: British Ambassador to Pakistan Thomas Drew has said his country is ready to become part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Mr Thomas also expressed satisfaction over security in Pakistan and success of Zarb-e-Azb operation.
“Britain values Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror. Overall security situation has improved in Pakistan in the wake of Zarb-e-Azb operation,” he said.

The ambassador said that future of democracy is bright in Pakistan.
He said both the countries will mark 70 years of establishment of diplomatic relations by arranging a series of activities as well as high level exchanges.

This should be noted that the government has undertaken a number of steps to train manpower for CPEC related projects. While, the amount of CPEC has increased from $46 billion to $54 billion with the potential to increase more with the inclusion of future projects.
