MITHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the government of Sindh will provide more facilities to people in all parts of Thar region, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Speaking at inauguration ceremony at Thar Coal mining block II, Bilawal Bhutto said he was happy for providing facilities to local people of the area.
“People’s Party always cares about the poor segments of society, which makes it different from other parties,” the PPP chairman said.
He said the PPP introduced successfully the Public Private Partnership concept in Thar Coal Project. This model if adopted, can make the CPEC a success in Pakistan, Bilawal said.
“We could enlighten Pakistan with the coal from Thar,” PPP leader said.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah addressing the gathering promised to provide more facilities to the people of the region.
It is to mention here that the Shanghai Electric, a Chinese company, will invest $4 billion at Thar Coal block one and will establish two more power plants of 1320 megawatts.
A delegation of the company recently called on Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and discussed the project.
