KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials claimed to have arrested five drug peddlers and seizure of huge quantity of narcotics in different raids conducted in different parts of Sindh, ARY News reported on Monday.
In latest series of raids, ANF officials have seized 130 kilograms of narcotics and arrested three alleged peddlers during a raid carried out at Jamshoro Indus Highway.
According to ANF spokesperson, the narcotics worth million in the international market were hidden in secret boxes of Toyota vehicle.
In a separate action, a drug smuggling bid to the United Kingdom (UK) through ‘cargo shipment’ was foiled by ANF officials in Hyderabad.

ANF officials confiscated narcotics up to three kilograms of Heroin during a raid in Korangi Industrial Area of Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan. Two accused persons were also arrested in the action.
The spokesperson said that the accused persons were travelling along with narcotics on a motorcycle.
On March 15, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had foiled a bid of smuggling of drugs and seized millions of rupees worth narcotics.
The ANF also arrested three drug peddlers including a B.Sc student, officials said.

The ANF officials during a search arrested two accused in a bus carrying a large consignment of drugs with them, according to the officials.
In another raid the ANF officials arrested a B.Sc student and recovered drugs from his car.
Accused Zain was involved in supplying narcotics at the educational institutions, ANF officials said.
