The ECP on Sunday issued notification of the appointment of six returning officers (ROs) and 24 polling officers. One RO each will be appointed in all the four provinces, Fata and the federal capital.
Three to five polling officers will perform their duties in each province.
On the whole, 144 candidates are contesting the run for 54 seats in the Senate of Pakistan.
Moreover, the ECP will hear the appeals of different candidates on February 26 and 27.
