LAHORE: After hot and dry days in the provincial capital Lahore, the weather turned pleasant after drizzle in different parts of the city on Sunday morning.
According to the Metrological department, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded 39 degrees Celsius while minimum 22 degrees Celsius.
Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi,Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha divisions) Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Dust-thunderstorm-rain is also expected at a few places in Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions. Whereas, most parts of Sindh and Balochistan will experience hot and dry weather today.
In Karachi, the minimum and maximum temperatures will remain at 27 and 36 degrees Celsius, respectively.
During the past 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad, upper FATA and Kashmir.
The weather department said the maximum temperature was recorded 47 degrees Celsius in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, and Dadu, followed by 46 degrees Celsius in Larkana, and 45 degrees Celsius in R.Y.Khan, Rohri, Chhor, Padidan, and Skrand.
