LAHORE: The doctors conducted postmortem of slain TNFJ leader Allama Nasir Abbas in Lahore hospital, ARY News reportedon Monday.
The preliminary postmortem report in its findings revealed that the slain Shia leader had received five gun shots in head, neck and other body parts.
A case has been registered at Garden Town police station of Lahore.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali has contacted the leaders of Tehreek-i-Nifaz-i-Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ), and offered providing an air ambulance to airlift remains of Allama Nasir Abbas to his native city of Multan.
Moreover, the sit-in to protest against the murder was ongoing outside the Governor’s House in Lahore.
Allama Nasir Abbas was going to his residence after attending a Majlis on Sunday night when armed motorcyclists intercepted his car and opened fire. Abbas was seriously injured in the attack and was pronounced dead in hospital.
