According to details, Uzair Baloch – main character of the Lyari Gang War – was presented before a UAE court on Sunday; however the court returned him to jail after the hearing.
No progress was made in Uzair Baloch’s handover to Pakistani officials on Sunday, despite three weeks’ stay of the FIA team in Dubai.
UAE authorities on Sunday accused that the ‘delaying tactics’ of the Pakistani team are the reason behind delay in Baloch’s handover.
UAE authorities have also written a letter to the Government of Pakistan seeking complete documentation of the Sindh Police team dispatched to take custody of the gangster.
On the other hand, the process of acquiring a temporary passport for the gangster is also in its final stage, so that he could be flown to Pakistan.
Sources told that after the handover, Baloch might be flown to Islamabad instead of Karachi, in view of security concerns.
