The Tropical cyclone ‘Nilofar’ will hit Pakistan, India and Oman. During the storm, winds of severe intensity, around 175-200 nautical miles expected to be witnessed.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department of Pakistan, the cyclone is likely to move initially northwestwards direction during next 24/36 hours and then it may recurve northeastwards.
It further added that thundershowers accompanied by strong gusty winds with isolated heavy falls are expected in Lower Sindh including Karachi and Coastal Areas of Balochistan during Wednesday to Friday.
The sea conditions along Pakistan coast may be rough to very rough from Wednesday evening to Friday.
Therefore, the fishermen of Sindh and Balochistan are advised not to venture in open sea from Wednesday to Friday. The fishermen who are in the open sea are advised to return to coastal areas before Wednesday evening.
