A heart-wrenching video has emerged from India, showing a cow running anxiously and following a goods vehicle carrying her injured calf to hospital.
The video was filmed in Haveri, a district in the state of Karnataka.
The cow is seen constantly chasing the van and at one moment it runs alongside the vehicle to stay with her injured calf.
It is not clear how the calf got injured, but it was taken in a goods vehicle for treatment by local authorities in Haveri and the cow followed the vehicle throughout.
Someone driving behind the vehicle filmed the heart-breaking moment.
