According to details, the suspect was produced before an Anti-Terrorism Court today where he was indicted. Ubaid K2 had been arrested from MQM headquarters Nine Zero on charges of being in possession of explosive material. Ubaid K2 had also been arrested on charges of murdering and being involved in the target killing of police officials.
Further details disclosed that he had refuted all charges against himself. The court has summoned key witnesses pertaining to the case as well as the Investigating Officer.
Another suspect named Abdul Qadir Hingoro was also indicted today. According to details, MQM worker Abdul Qadir Hingoro was arrested from the Garden area of Karachi on charges of possessing explosive material.
Last year, Ubaid K2 had disclosed that Deputy Superintendent Jail Amanullah Niazi was killed after he refused to facilitate Saulat Mirza.
Saulat Mirza, a former worker of MQM, was hanged to death last year in Machh Jail of Balochistan after being convicted in triple murder case.
