Controversial messages sent by English fans broadcasted during cricket match

MUMBAI: Controversial messages sent by English fans were displayed on the giant screen during the test match between England and India.

According to a foreign news agency, the messages were allegedly sent by English cricketing fans to vent out their frustrations over the team’s performance on the tour of India.

A message sent by “Madeleine McCann” read, “So grateful for my parents to bring me to the Cricket! Great day so far.”

It should be noted that McCann went missing in Portugal while spending holidays with her parents in 2007.

Another read, “Lovely to see so many young cricket fans here today! – Adam Johnson.”

Johnson was sent to jail over child sex offences for six-years earlier this year.

British ministers were also named in the messages. A message read, “Great to see so many Indian faces… In India! 🙂 C mon England! – Nigel Farage.”

It should be noted that Farage is one of the key political figures in England. He played a key role in taking UK out of the European Union.
