Contempt case: Mansha fails to submit affidavit in SHC

According to details, Justice Saeeduddin Nasir of SHC conducted the hearing of the case, during which the petitioner took stance that despite court orders Mian Mansha did not submit his affidavit.

He added that Mansha also not appeared before the court even after a year’s time.

A year ago, Mian Mansha was ordered by the court to submit his affidavit within seven days.

The petitioner said the former chairman of MCB is continuously violating the court orders and requested the SHC to bound Mian Mansha to appear before it and record his statement.

Moreover, the SHC adjourned the hearing of the contempt case against Mian Mansha and Atif Bajwa till December 19.
