According to police officials, the blast occurred through an explosive device that was planted in a motorbike.
The injured persons were moved to the Civil Hospital. Police said explosives weighing two to three kilograms were used in the blast, however target of the blast could not be determined as yet.
Police arrested a suspect from the site and shifted him to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
It may be noted here that a blast had also taken place at the same spot some days ago.
