He said parliament should take measures that may hold the supremacy of law and constitution.
He was addressing the Senate today. It was for the first time in country’s history that serving Chief Justice addressed the Upper House of the parliament.
Mr. Jamali said “We need to keep our opinion on judicial matters positive”.
“The judiciary intervenes in matters keeping in view the sensitivity of the issue.” He stressed the need to look into growing population in the country.
There is still a room for improvement in judicial system. We are, though, providing justice, said the Chief Justice.
He said people have fair expectations from the state.
The CJP said success is not guaranteed without implementation of law.
