The former home of the iconic comedian at Lake Geneva, where he lived until his death in 1977, has been converted on the anniversary of his birthday after fifteen years of preparations.
His wife Oona Chaplin and their eight children, clippings of his films and several personal belongings are also displayed.
Chaplin was regarded as one of the greatest actors of the silent era but was hounded by authorities for his Communist sympathies until he moved to Switzerland where he spent the last 25 years of his life.
