Landslide victory in yesterday’s cantonment board elections has turned the leaders of the ruling party aggressive.
Speaking to media here, Pervez Rasheed said that the results of cantonment board polls confirmed transparency of General Elections 2013, as a majority of people voted for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
He said that these results will prove to be evidence before the judicial commission formed to probe alleged irregularities in last general elections.

The minister asked the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan to apologize the people for misleading them.
“Leveling false allegations and speaking lies reduced Tehreek-i-Insaf’s vote bank,” he declared. “Imran obstructed the process of development in Pakistan and all these moves undermined PTI’s popularity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa considerably.”
Rasheed, however, announced to forgive whatever ill was spoken about his party standing atop a container in Islamabad.
