Blast in Chaman injures three

According to SHO City Police Station Shahid Saleem, the blast took place when a bomb went off just as a rickshaw was passing through the area injuring three persons. It is being said that the explosives were planted in a motorcycle parked between a bike shop and a hotel.

The wounded were shifted to a Civil Hospital where they were said to be out of danger.

It should be noted that Mall Road has been adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border. It was the second blast in the area in a span of three days. Earlier, terrorists had targeted a police van in which 12 persons, including two cops, were wounded.

A spate of explosions has caused problems for the law enforcement agencies despite strict security measures taken in the area.
