Addressing party affiliates at a meeting in Larkana on Thursday, Bilawal urged the activists to not forget ZA Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto in the forthcoming LB elections in Sindh.
He said that workers’ sacrifices have kept the party alive to this day and warned of an action against opportunist elements in party folds.
He said the decision of the party leadership will be final pertaining to the elections and vowed an action if anyone violated the party discipline.
The PPP chairman categorically said that none of the relatives of elected representatives will be handed party tickets.
On the occasion, Information Minister Sindh Nisar Khoro said Peoples Party is being wrongly accused of not holding LB election, all arrangements have been finalized and now it is election commission’s turn to conduct the polls.
He added that the LB polls in Sindh will be held on party basis.
During the meeting, activists held PPP ministers responsible for distances between workers and the party leadership.
