Apparently, Bollywood has more beef lovers than we thought it had.
Following the ban in Maharashtra on consuming beef, some Bollywood celebrities took to twitter to vent out their anger at the prohibition. Here’s how some celebrities moaned and groaned at the beef ban:-
So now in Maharashtra you can have a beef with someone but you can’t have beef with someone.

Actor Farhan Akhtar protested the beef ban with a witty display of wordplay. He questioned the ability of a person to feud with another in Maharashtra but not consume beef in it. Bravo, he has a point.
Beef faal baad! #kaminey — Ayushmann Khurrana (@ayushmannk) March 3, 2015
Actor Ayushman Khurrana deliberately replaced the letter S in his tweet with the letter F and implied that the beef ban was here to stay for a long time. In yet another tweet, he used a rhyme to vent his anger at the beef ban and at the same time, display the conservative state of affairs in India.
Gau maata. Humein kuch nahi aata! #beefban

Actor, producer and Dhoom star Uday Chopra tweeted a rather balanced approach. In his tweet, the Bollywood actor displayed his disappointment at the ban but also reflected on a positive aspect of the whole scenario.
Beef gets banned…on the plus side, less red meat in our diet is a good thing…on the not so plus side…another step towards a theocratic state

Seems like Bollywood stars have a bone to pick with the government! All above tweets by stars seem to be disappointed and saddened by the ban. While some can be interpreted as beef lovers yet it is obvious that B-town celebrities and actors prefer the element of choice rather than adopting rigid regulations.
According to the new law, anyone found to be selling beef or in possession of it can be jailed for five years and fined Rs 10,000.
