Interior Ministry fear terrorists' reprisal over executions

In a letter written to provinces by the Ministry of Interior, it was stated that a banned outfit sought help from al-Qaeda for carrying out attacks in the country; however after refusal from there it joined hands with another banned militant organization.

The letter read that the organization may hold common people captive for the release of its affiliates kept at different prisons.

It was further stated that a man named Abdul Rahman, resident of Kabirwala, South Punjab has planned terror attacks in the country.

The crisis management cell directed concerned authorities to take immediate measures to ensure the safety of citizens and public buildings.
