Awan bomb attack in Lyari leaves child dead, seven injured

The gang war between the two gangs in Lyari rages again with frequent Awan bomb attacks in Karachi’s most locality.

An awan bomb hit a rickshaw in Maula Madad area of Lyari today leaving a two-year girl dead and seven others injured.

The injured were transferred to civil hospital for medical attendance. The two injured said to be in a precarious condition.

Police has collected evidence and launched investigation of the incident.

Three more persons were injured in other incidents of violence in the port city.

Unknown attackers shot dead a man at Northern Bypass of Karachi. A dead body found at beach in the coastal locality of Ibrahim Hyderi.

In another shooting incident a man was killed in Korangi-2 area. The deceased was identified as 28-year Saqib.

A security guard who was injured while resisting a dacoity in Jamshed Quarters, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
