ATC grants 90-day custody of SSGC officials to Rangers

The paramilitary force officials produced the three detainees in the ATC-I today.

Rangers officials informed the court that the three SSGC officials had been detained for inquiry under the Anti Terrorism Act (ATA), 1997.

Rangers submits Dr Asim Hussain’s medical report to ATC

Paramilitary Rangers officials also produced medical report of Dr Asim in Anti Terrorism Court today.

The ATC had granted 90 days preventive cusoty of Dr Asim, a close aide of former president Asif Ali Zardari, to Rangers earlier this week under the Anti-Terrorism Act.

The court had asked the Rangers to submit a report on the health condition of Dr Asim Hussain.

A medical report submitted by the Rangers law officer in the court carried out by a doctor of the Rangers Hospital in North Nazimabad. The report says that Dr Asim have no medical problems which need hospitalization. His sugar and blood pressure are at normal levels and there were no medical complications. The report also says that the medicines required have been provided to him.
