Shahbaz Sharif in his prolonged meeting with the Army Chief discussed current situation of the Red Zone and the persisting political deadlock in the country.
Sources told that General Raheel Sharif stressed both the sides should hold meaningful talks and find a way out.
It was said that a situation of chaos is persisting in the federal capital for a week and this should be addressed.
After the meeting, a two-member delegation comprising of Aijaz ul Haq and Haider Abbas Rizvi met the leadership of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and discussed the entire scenario.
Both the representatives returned to the PM House from there and informed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the recent advancement, after which two of the government ministers have set out along with them to hold negotiations with PAT.
