Anushka Sharma has thanked Indian media and fan pages in her new Instagram story for respecting their privacy.
Bollywood actor, Anushka Sharma, on Sunday evening, took to stories of her Instagram handle and thanked the Indian media, paparazzi, and fan pages for respecting their privacy regarding the daughter, Vamika.
In an Instagram story, she wrote, “We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward”.
She further added, ” We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement, and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restrain in the matter”.
Her note ended with, “A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you”.
Anushka Sharma’s note is in response to the incident that took place earlier this week when Indian cricketer Virat Kohli humbly requests paparazzi not to click any pictures of daughter Vamika.
The family was spotted at the Mumbai airport while leaving for the South Africa tour of the Indian cricket team.
Virat and Anushka became proud parents to a daughter earlier this year, and the duo has managed to keep their daughter Vamika, away from the paparazzi’s cameras until now.
