PESHAWAR: Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, MNA of Awami National Party, has said that his party has opposed the Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO), ARY News reports.
Speaking exclusively with ARY News, Ghulam Ahmed Bilour urged the federal government to review the PPO and to fill the loopholes in the bill.
Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, while commenting on the government formed committee for peace talks with Taliban, said that he has objections over the team. He further said that representatives of the major political parties of the country should have been included in the committee. He added that the issues should be solved via dialogue.
He also said that some friends gave irresponsible statements, however the military should also show patience as it is a respectable institution.
Answering a question, the ANP MNA said that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will not commit the mistake of dissolving the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly as he will not receive the mandate for the second time.
