Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday extended greetings to Muslims across the world on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW).
He shared a picture with a Quranic verse regarding the Prophet Mohammed (SAWW) and Gumbad-e-Khizra, with the caption, “Tomorrow is EID MILAD UN NABI. My greetings and wishes to all. Peace prosperity and happiness ever”.
Translation of the verse, Surah al-Ahzab (33:40), he shared is, “Muhammad (SAWW) is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah (SWT) has full knowledge of all things.”

In Pakistan, mosques are elaborately illuminated with strings of light to celebrate, as the preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) are in top gear countrywide.
The Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated on Wednesday i.e. 12 Rabi ul Awal in Pakistan and India.
According to details, special programmes are being chalked out to highlight various aspects of the life of the last Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).
Mosques, government and private buildings, markets, shopping centres and roads across the country being decorated tastefully with green buntings, flags and colorful lights to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) .
Meanwhile, vendors have set up colourful stalls with various collection of badges, stickers, flags, and banners inscribed with religious slogans to pay respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) across the country.
On this sacred night of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi, Muslims perform prayers and read the holy Quran at mosques in addition to praying and listening to hymns praising the holy prophet (PBUH).
The federal government has also announced to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
