KARACHI: Cut it out! The British boxer of Pakistani origin Amir Khan finally jumps in to settle a running dispute between his wife model Faryal Makhdoom and his parents, asking them stop bashing each other on social media and keep their family matter private.
Faryal Makhdoom Khan claimed last week on social media that she had been allegedly physically and mentally bullied by her in-laws for the past three years.
She started a surprising Snapchat rant in which she accused her in-laws of trying to destroy the couple’s marriage.

On the other hand, Amir Khan’s parents condemned his wife for wearing un-Islamic and against-their-culture clothes while denying she ever suffered any sort of domestic abuse.
The British boxer’s parents rejected all the accusations by their daughter-in-law who later hit back on Snapchat with a stripped picture of their other son Haroon Khan lying on a bed.
Amir Khan described the actions of both parties as ‘childish’ and told them, “I’ve had enough.”
In a statement released on Twitter, he apologised for his wife’s and family’s behaviour.

For Amir, he said, “This is getting to a point where they will lose a son & a husband. Both parties need to stop this. I’ve had enough.”
Faryal Makhdoom Khan wrote: ‘Don’t get your sons married if you’re going to abuse and bully the wife.
‘I’ve always been so quiet but seriously this message is for everyone! When you bring someone’s daughter – treat her as your own. Your son will be much happier & so will you. :)’
Amir Khan and his wife share a house in Bolton with the boxer’s Khan’s father, parents, brother Haroon and sister Mariyah.
