Afridi eyes first-class cricket to ‘regain batting form’

Afridi often comes under fire for his inconsistent and ‘poor’ batting form. Recently former Pakistan Cricket Board chairperson Ejaz Butt had also slammed Afridi for his under-par batting performances.

Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Afridi said he did not want to comment on Butt’s statement. “To eradicate flaws in my batting, I have decided to get back to the first class cricket,” told the star all-rounder.

Afridi will feature in the upcoming season of Quaid-e-Azam trophy and lead his side. He had last played the domestic cricket in 2010.
