Abhishek shared a video of himself on Twitter taking part in the stunt, before nominating his father Amitabh Bachchan to take part in the fundraising dare, as well as Shah Rukh Khan and the entire team of Happy New Year.

Deshmukh’s Ek Villain co-star Sidharth Malhotra also accepted the challenge and shared the video on Twitter.
He went on to nominate Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and director Mohit Suri.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has seen stars such as Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, George Takei and Justin Timberlake record their ice bucket videos, donating thousands of dollars to the cause of spreading awareness of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
