ABBOTTABAD: Three people were killed and six others were injured when a truck plunged into a ravine in Abbottabad on Friday, ARY News reported.
According to details, the truck went out of the control of the driver while anticipating a sharp turn at Sherwan Road and the vehicle fell into the ravine.
Two people were killed in the mishap on the spot whereas one of the injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Rescue and Police teams reached to the scene after receiving information of the incident.
The injured persons were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex for treatment. Two of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
Poor maintenance of vehicles, reckless driving and dilapidated roads are said to be the major causes of accidents in Pakistan, which claim hundreds of lives each year.
