Speaking to journalists informally outside the Sindh High Court today, Khan revealed the news while adding that MQM-P will name Syed Aminul Haque as its candidate for Minister of Overseas Pakistanis.

Yesterday, a delegation of the MQM-P led by Minister for Information Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on Prime Minister Imran Khan during his maiden visit of the metropolis.

During the meeting, matters of local bodies’ affairs, development schemes for Karachi and Hyderabad among others were discussed in the meeting.

The delegation also expressed its reservation on census process in Karachi.

The MQM-P leader said he also spoke to the PM about devising policy for recovery of missing persons. He said he also presented the case of people of Martin Quarters and FC Area before the PM.

Siddiqui said that the premier had assured that all the issues will soon be resolved.

To a query, he said former MQM-P convener Farooq Sattar had been invited for talks. He said Sattar would himself determine his future course, however we would be waiting for him.

Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar said the PM was apprised of the issue of water scarcity in Karachi. He said the federal government should give funds for K-IV water project.
