Ignorance and superstition made another human fall prey to Aamils – the so-called faith-healers – in the society.
Abdul Sattar, 60, was ill that his children called an Aamil named Saai’n Baba from Gojra. The exorcist kept Sattar over burning coals all the night trying to cast the ghost out of him.
The heirs of Sattar started to mourn as they saw their father dead, while the faith-healer fled the scene.
Meanwhile, police shifted the dead body to district headquarter hospital and send out teams in search of the exorcist and his accomplices.
