According to details, heads of both the brotherly states discussed the Middle East situation and affairs relating to the evacuation of Pakistanis trapped in Yemen during their telephonic conversation on Saturday.
They held an exchange of views on Yemen crisis and mounting fears in this regard.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured his full support to the Saudi King in resolving the crisis.
“Pakistan will utilize all available resources to ensure the security of Saudi Arabia,” said Sharif.
On the other hand, a convoy of Pakistanis has set out for Al Hudaydah from Sanaa, with diplomatic staff on-board as well.
Pakistan Ambassador to Yemen, Dr Irfan Yousuf told that the convoy comprises of 40 vehicles carrying more than 500 Pakistani citizens who were stranded in Sanaa.
He said that the convoy is heading under strict security and Pakistanis in different cities of Yemen have also been directed to reach Al Hudaydah for their safe return to home.
