According to details, the SNGC on Thursday notified that the gas supply to industry and CNG sector in Punjab will remain suspended from November 15, for a period of four months.
The notification further read that the decision was made due to a sharp decline in gas pressure all over the province.
However, the authorities kicked the grave of ‘Hatim Tai’, by announcing to supply gas to the textile industry 48 hours a week.
It was said that the supply to textile industry, though for 48 hours a week, was maintained for the sector is a source of earning considerable amount of foreign exchange for the country.
